Brushes & Tools
Good paint is easier to use with the right tools. A decent brush, roller, sleeve, tray, kettle, or bit of sandpaper can make the job feel calmer and the finish look much better.
This range is made up of the tools I think are genuinely useful for decorating. 9" rollers for walls and ceilings. 4" rollers for awkward bits, panelling, shelves, and smaller areas. Angle sash brushes for cutting in around edges and frames. Flat brushes for woodwork, trims, furniture, doors, and touch-ups.
There are also reusable sugarcane pulp trays, a handy 2.5L paint kettle, sandpaper for prep, and a skimming grid for loading your roller properly, especially with lime-based paints.
Where possible, these tools use better materials, including bamboo handles, recycled metal, recycled plastic cores, and biodegradable pulp trays. They still need to work properly though. That matters most. I would rather stock a tool that helps you get a good finish than something that sounds eco but makes painting harder.
Better tools, better finish, less plastic where we can.
