The paints I'd actually use on exterior walls
Exterior walls cope with rain, frost and sun, and the biggest mistake I see is a plastic masonry paint that traps damp and then blisters. I only sell breathable ones that let the wall dry out.
For most walls, render, brick and heritage or lime, my go-to is GCS Exterior, a breathable mineral silicate in white and colours. For the greenest, air-purifying option there is AmbientPro+.
If you just want a traditional white on lime render, Auro 344 lime paint is a lovely, great-value choice.

Before you buy
How to choose, in 60 seconds
Most outside walls want a breathable mineral or silicate masonry paint. Save eggshell and gloss for exterior woodwork and trim.
For lime render and older solid walls, pick a highly breathable silicate or lime paint so moisture can escape rather than getting trapped.
