About us

We're a small independent retailer of natural, eco friendly and/or generally sustainable alternatives to chemical filled paints and products you'd ordinarily use in your home.

Our aim is to try and help everyone transition away from products that are actively ruining your indoor air quality, to alternatives that not only are better for you and your family, but also that don't wreck the planet during manufacture and production. 

The origins

Greenshop Paints has been selling natural and eco paints for almost 30 years from the Cotswolds, and I aquired, and took over operations here in July 2024. Previously, I founded The Organic & Natural Paint Company over in Norfolk over a decade ago (selling almost identical products), so when I had the opportunity to acquire and join forces I jumped at it and got stuck in, and we have operated as one ever since. 

I started Organic & Natural Paint Company as my way of pushing the awareness of better indoor air quality, which is something that I am personally passionate about due to genetic breathing issues in our family. I just couldn’t paint with big brand standard petrochemical chemically laden paint paint any longer and wanted another solution. 

The team 

We have just 4 of us, and I'm lucky to have such amazing team of great humans: Richard, Laura and Grant.
