Lime Based FIllers - Breathable Fillers & Plasters for Walls

Our lime plaster fillers are ideal to repair or patch lime plaster walls. Highly breathable, and suitable for repairs to old and new lime plasters. Unlike modern synthetic fillers, lime fillers allow moisture vapour to move naturally through the repair, helping to prevent trapped damp and surface failure.

Lime plastering has been predominantly for traditional houses and older homes, as traditionally walls were plastered with a lime mix before the more recent gypsum plaster took hold. Once plastered, use a plaster primer, and then use one of the many lime paints that we offer.

Lime plaster is having a resurgence over the last few years, predominately due to the renewed focus on sustainability, eco credentials, but also as lime plaster is naturally more breathable, absorbs carbon, and has anti mould and mildew protection due to slightly higher PH.

Breathable Lime Fillers for Wall Repair

The main lime plasters that we offer at the moment are filler products for spot repairs to existing older walls and lime plasters.

This is fundamentally the best option for an interior filler for lime plaster, which is itself as breathable as the pre existing lime plaster.
