Paint Brushes & Application

A good brush makes painting feel much easier. You get more control, neater lines, smoother paint, and less of that annoying feeling that the brush is working against you.

This range includes flat brushes, angle sash brushes, and brush sets in useful sizes. I would use a flat brush for woodwork, doors, shelves, furniture, trims, touch-ups, and smaller areas where a roller does not make sense.

For cutting in, I think an angle sash brush is the one to go for. The angled head makes it easier to paint around ceilings, skirting boards, window frames, door frames, sockets, corners, and edges without making a mess.

The brush sets are handy if you want a few sizes together and do not want to overthink it. Smaller brushes for fiddly bits, wider brushes for bigger sections.

Where possible, these brushes use better materials, including bamboo handles and recycled metal ferrules. They still feel like proper decorating brushes though. That is the point. Better finish, better materials, less plastic where we can.
