The paints I'd actually use in a bedroom
It can be hard working out which is the best choice of paint for your rooms, and as your bedroom is the room you breathe in for a third of your life, so it's the one I care about most when someone asks me what to use. I've painted plenty of them over the years, my own included, and these are the natural, low odour paints I keep coming back to.
For walls, my go-to is Grafclean, our top selling emulsion and honestly the one on my own bedroom walls. It's breathable, washable, virtually zero VOC and comes in 120 colours. If you prefer a soft, chalky, ultra matt look, Earthborn Claypaint is lovely and especially kind to allergy sufferers.
For woodwork, skirting and built in wardrobes I'd reach for Grafclean Eggshell, which wipes clean and deals with the everyday knocks. For ceilings, Nevada is my value pick, a bright breathable white that doubles as a mist coat on fresh plaster.
