Paint required across our ranges

How this is calculated

Walls = 2 × (length + width) × height, minus doors and windows, plus the ceiling if included. For each paint we show the paint needed and cost at 1 and 2 coats, and mark the recommended number. Paint = area × coats ÷ coverage, plus your wastage allowance. Cost uses the paint's cheapest per-litre rate (its largest tin) unless a fixed per-litre price is set. Figures are a guide.
