Honestly made, honestly labelled. We believe an eco claim should survive contact with the small print. Every Soil & Sky tin carries its full recipe, so you can see exactly what you are putting on your walls, right down to the last percent.

Mostly natural, genuinely low VOC. Our paints are built from mostly natural and mineral raw materials, are solvent-free, and sit far below the legal VOC limits. Where a small amount of something less romantic is needed to make a paint work, we tell you rather than round up.

Breathable by design. These are mineral and plant-oil finishes that work with your walls rather than sealing them behind plastic film, helping rooms manage moisture and stay healthier for longer.

Choosing your Soil & Sky finish

• Calm, dry rooms: Quiet White, our plant-oil matt emulsion, for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways. A soft, flat matt with class 1 coverage.
• Damp or mould-prone rooms: Mineral White, a breathable, preservative-free silicate paint for bathrooms, kitchens, cellars and cool north-facing walls.
• Prep and repair: Natural Mineral Filler, a cement-free lime mortar and resurfacing plaster for levelling walls before you paint.

Why we made Soil & Sky

After decades of selling natural paint, we kept meeting people who wanted a straightforward, honest finish without a chemistry degree to decode the label. Soil & Sky is our answer: a tightly edited range where the recipe is on the tin and the eco claims are ones we can stand behind.

Paint you do not have to redo is the greenest paint there is, so each finish is chosen to last, to bond properly to the wall, and to keep your indoor air as clean as the day before you painted. It is a small range on purpose, and we would rather do a few things properly than fill a shelf.
