CHINOISERIE

A beautifully soft, light yellow, taken from scans of the Chinese wallpaper at Marble Hill, reimagined by de Gournay for the Dining Parlour in 2006. Chinoiserie pairs beautifully with soft pinks and warm neutrals, adding a subtle yet radiant glow to dining rooms and hallways. Works well alongside Parlour Pink and Ivory.

DE GREY

A soft, traditional neutral colour, taken from the fireplace within the light-filled Orangery at Wrest Park, bearing the de Grey coat of arms. De Grey is a light grey, perfect for period properties or modern interiors. Pairs beautifully with architectural whites like Carrara White and warm greys like Faded Lead.

DEAL STAIRS

A warm stone colour, inspired by scans taken from the decoration of the Deal Stairs at Kenwood. A versatile and grounding hue, Deal Stairs blends seamlessly with traditional creams and earthy hues like Notebook and Warm Stone.

ENTRANCE HALL BLUE

A bold, teal blue taking its inspiration from the neoclassical entrance hall at Kenwood, designed by Robert Adam. Perfect for statement spaces, Entrance Hall Blue pairs well with soft whites like Whisper and deeper blues like Smalt Blue.

DRESSING ROOM

ELDORADO

This warm, clean blue was inspired by the 19th-century Zuber wallpaper at Wrest Park. RED DAMASK

SMALT BLUE

A deep, royal blue once created by mixing cobalt blue and glass. Used by artists like Vermeer, Rembrandt, and JMW Turner. Inspired by the gates at Chiswick House. Inspired historic pigments this shade exudes depth.

THE MAP ROOM

This neutral muted green was taken from the Map Room at Eltham Palace, where the Courtaulds may have planned their luxurious adventures in the 1930s. The Map Room is a refined choice for studies and living spaces, pairing well with warm neutrals like Bath Stone and deep greens like Butler’s Green.

YELLOW OCHRE
