When overpainting existing painted surfaces, either key (lightly sand) the surface, or use the L42 primer (we always recommend the primer for a better longer lasting finish). Prime with L42 Ambient primer for all unpainted interior walls and ceilings. Prepare paint for use with a good stir, and then dilute with water to 5-10% of the product weight (100-150 ml of water per litre of product).
