Earthborn Claypaint creates a luxurious ultra matt finish on interior walls and ceilings. The unique clay based formulation is thick and creamy, offering full coverage with almost no drips.
Why clay paint rather than 'normal emulsion'? Because looks amazing due to it's naturally soft ultra flat finish that looks gorgeous in any light. Apply like any normal emulsion!
This eco friendly and sustainable interior emulsion paint is hardwearing, and is a highly breathable paint which has low emissions, vegan and is virtually odour free.

What can I paint Clay paint over?
Earthborn Claypaint can also be used on previously painted surfaces and is easy to apply.
Earthborn Claypaint is excellent for painting dry, absorbent, grease-free surfaces such as wallpaper, wood, plaster, and most common mineral surfaces.
Suitable for both gypsum and lime plasters!
This clay paint is highly breathable, making it ideal for use over lime plaster.
Surface preparation
Loose paint should be removed with a brush or scraper before painting. Stains that bleed through the paint (such as water stains, nicotine, etc.) should first be treated.
Very smooth, non-absorbent surfaces must be sanded. (Sand paper and prep tools can be found here) Clay/lime plaster must be moistened before the application of Earthborn Claypaint.
In terms of care, it is often possible to remove surface marks using a pencil eraser or very fine emery paper (test on a small area first).
Coverage Approx coverage 10 m² per litre.
Actual coverage will depend upon absorbency of the surface and method of application. Remember, Claypaint may require one less coat than you expect.
2.5L approx. coverage 25m²
5L approx. coverage 50m²
Ingredients: Water, Chalk, Talcum, Vinegar Ester, Methylcellulose, Titanium Dioxide, Phosphate, Sodium Hydroxide, 0.1% synthetic preservative.
*Titanium dioxide in some colours (colour card details which do not contain Titanium Dioxide). The natural clay colours; Marbles, Humpty Dumpty, Freckle & Flower Pot, do not contain Titanium Dioxide or colourant.
