Natural Clay Paint, White - Breathable & Non Toxic - Auro 331

Auro Clay paint is a high grade, ready to use clay paint suitable for use on interior walls. It is the first ready to use clay based paint on the market which has no preservatives. The paint dries to an attractive cream white shade with a matt finish, creating a warm and appealing colour effect.

Class 3 wet scrub resistance

This clay based emulsion is a highly breathable paint, regulates moisture and is open to water vapour diffusion. The clever scientists at Auro have created the biogenic binding agent REPLEBIN® to ensure high quality product features and very low emissions.

If a coloured clay paint is required rather than white, Auro 535 Colours for Life is a high grade coloured clay paint. Available in 96 colours inspired by the natural world.

Ingredients: Water, mineral fillers, clay, Replebin®, potassium silicate, silicate, cellulose, surfactants made of rapeseed-, castor oil

Coverage: 9m2 per litre

Application: Apply with a roller for a smooth finish. The clay used in this paint is not granular so will not create a sandy finish. Auro Clay Paint can also be applied with a brush or sprayer.

On uniformly white surfaces the paint can be applied without dilution. On other surfaces, the first coat should be diluted with up to 10% water. Alternatively a primer coat can be applied using Auro Grip Coat 505. Highly absorptive substrates should be primed using Auro Plaster Primer 301.

Once the surface has been primed, apply one or two coats of clay paint to achieve desired finish.

Many positive characteristics speak in favour of this consistently ecological dispersion clay paint: It has a moisture regulating effect and is open to water vapour diffusion and highly breathable. The biogenic binding agent REPLEBIN®* guarantees professional product features, e.g. abrasion resistance (class 3, DIN 53778) and opacity (class 2). Due to the binding agent REPLEBIN®* used in this interior wall paint, the product has a very low emission according to the strict AgBB evaluation scheme. Roller application produces a a fine and smooth coating because the light clay used in the product is not granular or sandy. The High-grade Clay paint can also be applied with a brush or by airless spraying.
