Natural Emulsion Paint, Colours, Breathable Interior - Auro 555

This environmentally friendly Premium Emulsion is made from natural ingredients and mixed using only earth and natural pigments, which we finely grind into pastes. It’s free from petrochemicals, plastics and emissions – so you can be confident that you’ll have a healthy home and take care of the planet at the same time.

VOC Level: < 1 g/l.
Breathability: SD value < 0,1 m
Wipeability: Class 2-3 according to the depth of pigmentation. What is 'class 2 wet scrub resistance'

Coverage: 9 sq.m per litre (per coat, usually 2 coats required)
2.5L: 23 sqm (per coat)
5L: 45 sqm (per coat)
10: 90 sqm (per coat)

Application:

For existing painted walls (normal paints / unknown paints): For better coverage and application, dilute 10% water to 90% Auro 555 as your first coat. Then 2 coats of Auro 555 undiluted. Optional!

For bare plaster (gypsum) - Either use the Auro 301 plaster primer, or just dilute 10% water to 90% Auro 555 as your 'mist coat'. Then 1-2 coats of Auro 555 undiluted as normal.

For bare plaster (Lime, clay, etc) - Use Auro 505 Universal Primer, Then 2 coats of Auro 555 undiluted.

For plasterboard: Use Auro 301 Primer, or the newer Auro 505 Primer, Then 2 coats of Auro 555 undiluted.

Q: Can I paint over non natural paints or 'normal big brand paints'? A: Yes you can. Ideally dilute 10% water to 90% Auro 555 as your first coat. Then 1-2 coats of Auro 555 undiluted. Optional!

Q: How many coats if I want to paint light colours over dark?
A: You may need 2-3 coats for deeper colours, with a drying time of 4-6 hours between coats. Or apply a coat of the undercoat primer Auro 505 first, and then 1-2 coats of Auro 555 as normal.

Tips or a perfect painting result: Paint the carefully masked edges and corners, and immediately afterwards paint the rest of the area with a roller. Apply the paint liberally and always work to a wet edge. Two coats will suffice if applied in this way.

Ingredients
Mineral fillers, pigments, water, Replebin® (Auro's biogenic binder, see below), cellulose, surfactants made of rapeseed and castor oils, ammonia, benzisothiazolinone (EU legally required, at trace level), sodium pyrithione.

Packaging: The dark blue part of the tub is now made from 100% recycled ocean plastic, and the white lid 100% recycled plastic. Shipped and packed in recycled materials / cardboard which can all be recycled again. No plastic packing peanuts or plastic bags.
