Basic Natural Plasterboard Primer for Wall Paints - Auro 301

Auro plaster and plasterboard primer is highly effective for preparation of highly absorptive wall surfaces prior to painting. Suitable for use on many areas including gypsum plasterboard, fibreboard, and mineral interior plasters.

This plaster primer makes use of a unique binding agent, Replebin®, developed by Auro’s own chemists. It is plant based, emission free, and odour free.

Application to fresh plaster is straightforward with minimal dripping and splashing. It allows walls to breathe, and is particularly effective when used with an emulsion or breathable clay paint from Auro’s extensive range of natural paints.

Apply primer by painting using a ceiling brush, or spraying.

Ingredients: Water, Replebin®, benzisothiazolinone, methyl isothiazolinone, potash, sugar surfactant

Coverage: 1L will cover 20 sq.m approximately

Application Tips:
Shake well, dilute 1:1 with water and apply evenly with a brush. Depending on the absorptivity of the substrate, apply once or twice. Subsequently treat with AURO wall paints.

Tips:
Strongly or irregularly absorptive substrates, i.e. gypsum plasterboards, should be primed to create a unified surface and to avoid irregular or matt areas in the wall coatings that follow.
