The wood stain is suitable for interior and exterior application and provides a brilliant result and excellent weather resistance outdoors after just coats. Even the transparent variant No. 560-01 provides an excellent protection against external influences and even protects the wood against greying*. This gives the wood the care and protection it needs outdoors, while retaining the unique grain of the wood.
The product is easy to apply, fast-drying, almost odourless and low in emissions. It meets the criteria of the French VOC regulation, is AgBB-compliant and therefore especially recommended for living and sleeping areas.

Application:
Prime substance-rich and highly absorbent woods with AURO COLOURS FOR LIFE Woodstain, transparent No. 560-01 or with tinted AURO COLOURS FOR LIFE Woodstain No. 560 (diluted with up to 5% water). Treat boron salted or boiler pressure impregnated woods separately. *
Other woods can be coated directly with the product.

Tips:
The COLOURS FOR LIFE Woodstain No. 560 cannot be applied only on wood. It can also be used for decorative purposes on walls which are coated with emulsion paints such as No.'s 321, 331 or 524. For this purpose, it is advisable to make the wall less absorbent so that the wood stain cannot dry too quickly during application. Prepare substance-rich and highly absorbent woods by priming them with AURO COLOURS FOR LIFE Woodstain, either using the transparent variant No. 560-01 or the tinted version No. 560 (diluted with up to 5% water). It is essential to handle boron salted or boiler pressure impregnated woods separately. For these specific woods, a distinct treatment process is recommended.
However, for other types of wood, you can apply the product directly without the need for a separate primer.
The versatility of COLOURS FOR LIFE Woodstain No. 560 extends beyond wood applications; it can also be creatively utilized for decorative purposes on walls previously coated with emulsion paints like No.'s 321, 331, or 524. To ensure optimal results in this context, it is recommended to reduce the wall's absorbency. This precautionary step prevents the wood stain from drying too quickly during application, allowing for a smoother and more controlled process.
