This silicate paint can be used on interior and exterior bare, porous mineral surfaces. For example: concrete, stone, masonry, pebbledash, and sound silicate-based painted surfaces. Excellent for use in renovation projects.

Application: Earthborn Silicate Masonry Paints requires the application of a Silicate Primer Paint or Bonding Primer prior to application.
For bare, porous, and unpainted masonry substrates. Suitable for application to surfaces including stone, concrete, lime plaster, and pebbledash. Use of the masonry paint together with a primer, a permanent but breathable chemical bond will be created.
Apply a single coat of silicate primer followed by two further coats of silicate masonry paint. Dilute the first coat with 10-20% of primer.
Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Allow 6-12 hours between coats.
Earthborn primers are water based and virtually VOC free.

The Silicate System requires all surfaces to be primed with a single coat of Silicate Primer followed by two coats of Silicate Masonry Paint (first coat must be diluted with 10-20% Ecopro Silicate Primer).

For use over previously painted, sound masonry substrates. When used with Silicate Masonry Paint it will create a strong mechanical bond.
