Application:
For the priming coat, dilute the paint with 20% water, then apply up to three coats diluted with up to 10% of water. Allow for 24 hours of drying time between coats.
If painting over old, regular emulsion or non-mineral coatings, we strongly recommend priming the surface with Auro 505 Grip Coat before applying Auro 328.
IMPORTANT: unlike regular emulsions, lime-based wall paints such as Auro 328 dry through a process called carbonation, which means they benefit from drying slowly, to enable a strong bond to be formed with the surface it is applied to. It is therefore important to avoid rapid drying, hence limit both ventilation and warm room temperature.
Tips:
Light initiates the photocatalytical effect that supports the degradation of odours and pollutants, a process that was examined and proven in tests.
