Info: Auro 519 - Rust Protection Primer

Auro Rust Protection Primer 519 is ideal preparation for metal surfaces before painting with Auro Satin Paint 517 or Auro Gloss Paint 516.

At Greenshop Paints, our selection of Auro paint is second to none, and we take immense pride in our extensive collection of natural paint.

Before applying the Auro Rust Protection Primer 519 the surface should be rust free, dry, chemically neutral, adhesive and able to support the paint.

If there is rust present it should be removed by wire brush or sanding. Do not use rust converters.

Remove old non adhering coatings or sand existing coatings which are in good conditions to matt.

Prime the surface with the Rust Protection Primer by brush, roller or by spraying.

Exterior surfaces will need two coats of primer.

Allow 6 hours in between coats to fully dry. It will be dust dry in approximately two hours.
