Hilka Pro Mortar & Grouting Gun Set

Auro 396 comes in a clip-ended tube that needs an open barrel gun rather than a standard cartridge gun. The Hilka takes the tube straight in: cut off the clip, drop it into the barrel and screw on the end cap with the nozzle.

Info: Natural Cork Filler for Door & Window Insulation - Auro 396

An ecologically alternative to construction foam for window and door installation: fills cavities between brickwork and window and door frames providing good sound and heat insulation. Apply the solvent-free cork granulate delivered in plastic tubes with an open barrel gun such as the Hilka Pro Mortar & Grouting Gun (available on our site), although in some cases application with a spatula is possible.



Cut off the clip and equip the caulking gun with the plastic tube. Screw on the closing cap with the nozzle, cut at an angle. Fill the joints evenly with the cork filler and smooth the surface with a spatula.

Through gaps should be closed off on one side, e.g. using cover strip or suitable back filling. The sealing is breathable and can also be overcoated, e.g. outdoors to avoid UV influence and greying.
